Abronye praises Sammy Gyamfi's performance at GoldBod
The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, known as Abronye, has heaped praise on Sammy Gyamfi for his exceptional leadership as CEO of GoldBod. In a viral video, Abronye highlighted how Gyamfi's strategic branding and policy reforms have transformed the company, making it more attractive to investors.
Abronye attributed the success to the rebranding of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company to GoldBod, a move that emphasized gold, a highly trusted and traded mineral. He noted that the previous name didn't resonate with investors, but the new focus on gold has significantly increased interest.
"This is good marketing," Abronye said. "When it was Precious Minerals, we didn't have lots of investors like we do now." The company was established during the administration of former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Abronye also praised Gyamfi's leadership, stating that the CEO has raised the profile of the office and strengthened its relevance within the mineral marketing sector. Despite initial criticism, Abronye believes Gyamfi has proven his worth, despite being insulted.
"So, if we want someone who has really worked and raised the standards of the office despite being insulted, it is Sammy Gyamfi. The truth must be told, he has done tremendously well," Abronye stated.
Abronye's comments come as a surprise, especially given his subsequent accusations against Gyamfi regarding his Airport Hills mansion. Abronye alleged that NPP officials were financing the mansion, a claim that sparked further controversy.
